2013: The Year of Best Designer Collaborations Ever!

I mean seriously—I can’t even deal with how many designers are jumping on the capsule collection bandwagon and making their creative visions available to all. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a sucker for the art of a beautiful creation—hand spun from an illustration to the runway. But in between chasing those beautiful one of a kinds, it’s refreshing to not blow my rent ;)

So, enough already, right? This week, let’s talk about PREEN and ALDO Rise. I’m a shoe fanatic, no shame in that…so one of my favorite UK duos teaming up with the ALDO powerhouse for a capsule collection is pretty rad.

If you haven’t already added a pair of these sweet little ladies to your collection, I highly advise it—immediately. Spring. In. Step.

How do you want to change the world? Do you? I was given the opportunity today to share my thoughts, passions, and accomplishments with a local publication (Details coming soon!) about my career. Out of everything I was able to share, the most important is this: Find your voice and stand behind it. In an industry that is subjective and more competitive than high school girls running for prom queen, this is the key. You can not be afraid to go after what you want. Thank you Nike, just do it!
